I teach private lessons for banjo and old-time guitar, working with students at all levels. We'll focus on whatever you're trying to learn. Whether that's getting comfortable with basic clawhammer technique, tackling a specific tune, or figuring out how all this old-time stuff fits together. Lessons are relaxed and move at your pace. Available in-person or online, whichever works better for you.

Lessons are $40 an hour, and I'll send you recordings afterward so you can practice what we covered. I take Venmo or cash. If that's tough on your budget, just email me and we'll work something out. First-timers can grab a free 30-minute consultation to make sure we're a good match.

Old-Time Guitar

Learn foundational old-time guitar techniques including basic chord progressions, choosing bass notes, and how to accompany fiddle tunes and traditional songs. Ideal for beginners or those new to old-time music.
